Elliott & Nakita Engagment Part II

It seemed like Christmas morning  for Elliott as we pulled into the private parking garage for the home of the Cincinnati Reds, The Great American Ball Park!  He had the biggest smile on his face that I have ever seen.

We first made our way to the dugout then to many other special places in the stadium!  It was a beautiful day for our adventure.

The day way ended with a wonderful walk through downtown Cincinnati!

Laena & Vail Engagement

This is one of my favorite engagement sessions from 2010!

For this session we wanted to do a few of the things that Laena & Vail love to do the most.  We had a wonderful meal at Wild Ginger, who were wonderful to open a room up just for us!  The atmostphere is beautiful and food is so yummy!

Laena and Vail LOVE Greater’s Ice Cream.  They eat it at least 3-4 times per week!  That’s crazy!  I will never understand how Laena keeps her figure! So the next stop was at Greater’s, our goal was to get the largest cone of ice cream we could and walk across the street without losing any of it.  We figured 5 scoops would do it, after this experience I think we could have done more!

Books, books and more books!  This is one of Vail and Laena’s passions, so we were welcomed into their local Joseph-Beth Bookstore location. It’s a beautiful store full of hard wood and a maze of thousands of books.

At the end of their session we decided to make personalized table numbers for their wedding day by using their hands!  I didn’t want to put these images up before their wedding since it was a surprise.  They were married in Fall of 2010, so keep your eyes open for their Hawaiian themed wedding photos!

If you can’t wait, then you can find them and many other weddings on my facebook page.

Elliott & Nakita Engagement Part I

I met Elliott & Nakita late this summer and we hit it off.  I’m so excited to be a part of their 2011 wedding!  They are such a unique couple with energy and so much kindness.

They met at Camp Joy, the place where they met!  It is an amazing non-profit camp where they teach team building to businesses, organizations, universities, and high schools along with many other things.  If you have a group or company who would like to try a new type of leadership training and team building style then please contact them for more information.

Elliott and Nakita in years past spent time leading teams through the camps high ropes course, so they are highly trained!  I was able to try it and got about 3 steps out into the easiest section of the course before having to turn back.  Okay maybe it was 2.  But I’ll try anything once!

Since they are from Cincinnati it’s only natural that they are huge baseball fans.  So we took some time to play catch at Camp Joy. Stay tuned for part II of their session when we got into one of the most amazing places in Cincinnati for baseball fans!  (hint: it has a red phone)

Alvarez Family 2010

I feel so happy to have met the Alvarez family.  They are full of life, family unity and most of style!  First we did a mini session in a park near their home then went out for a wonderful family dinner.
